It all started when…

Cathy Bray, decided to not give a shit.

The year was 2006 and she finally bit the bullet and began her Masters in Creative Writing at Sydney University led by Judith Beveridge “you can lie in poetry you know”. Since then she has become a serial offender at the Sydney Fringe, performing 6 times with her satirical performance poetry shows. After which she was scouted to become one of the Fringe’s resident “Judge Judys”, where she reviewed and nominated shows across the Sydney Fringe.

She is a poet and a comedian but not usually at the same time. A loving activist for refugee rights and a rabid grandmother, she’s starting to misbehave in her old age and also writes reviews on events and shows she adores. (I don’t want to be a bitch about it).
